Drilling mixtures

Allstarch CWS (cold water swelling) wheat starches are used in reagents, providing one of the key functional abilities. They form a natural compound and have an excellent flocculating ability. Native CWS starches are film-forming ingredients that are targeted for use when drilling oil or gas wells. In addition, they are used to stabilize mineralized drilling fluids.
Allstarch CWS wheat starches are also considered an economical fluid loss reducer in brine-based drilling fluids. They are well-compatible with other reagents. Moreover, the starches obtained by cold water swelling are eco-friendly, as they are prepared with minimum shearing and damage by heat. These properties allow us to use such a solution to obtain flushing fluids during drilling and the opening of aquifers (drinking water supply).
