Warehouse Administration Clerc (m/f/d)
Part-time (number of hours to be agreed on an individual basis)
In the warehouse, goods movements must be recorded, documents processed, lists maintained and stock levels documented in a traceable manner. In day-to-day operations, however, things do not always remain as organised as they should be. That is why we are looking for reliable support for our warehouse management – someone who can bring order to documents and data, consistently follow up on tasks and improve our existing processes step by step.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. But you should be able to spot where something is missing, investigate discrepancies and take pleasure in creating greater order and clarity, step by step.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining lists and data: You keep Excel lists up to date, check the information and ensure that data sets are clear and traceable.
- Posting goods movements: You record goods receipts and other goods movements in SAP, ensuring that the transactions are posted correctly.
- Organising documents: You sort and process documents, collate information and help to progressively digitise paper-based processes.
- Preparing freight documents: You prepare transport and dispatch documents carefully and in full.
- Checking stock levels: You will assist with stock-taking, reconcile actual stock levels with the recorded data, and follow up on discrepancies until they are resolved.
- Keep track of outstanding tasks: you request any missing documents and information, send reminders regarding agreed feedback, and monitor the progress of each task.
- Improving processes: You identify inconsistencies and put forward suggestions on how existing processes can be made clearer and more efficient. You implement these improvements in consultation with the relevant contacts.
What we're looking for:
- Organisational skills: You organise tasks and documents in a logical manner and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with numerous individual tasks.
- Accuracy: You work meticulously, check your results and are precise when dealing with figures, data and supporting documents.
- Numeracy and logical thinking: You spot inconsistencies, can cross-check information and systematically get to the root of errors.
- Reliability: You complete the tasks you’ve been assigned in full and on time. People can rely on your work.
- Assertiveness: You follow up on outstanding issues, request the necessary input and are able to remain objective and firm even in stressful situations.
- Proactive yet level-headed: You work independently once instructions have been agreed, contribute your own ideas and put forward suggestions for improvement. When changes are required, you adhere to agreed responsibilities and liaise with those in charge.
- Confidence in using a computer: You are familiar with Excel or are willing to learn how to use it. Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
Commercial training is welcome, but not essential. Even if you’re changing careers, you can make a good impression with us – provided you have organisational skills, work meticulously and enjoy keeping things in order. What matters most are your skills and your approach to work, not just your career history to date.
What you can expect from us:
- A good work-life balance thanks to flexible working hours: your working hours will fall within the 6.00 am to 6.00 pm time slot.
- A varied range of administrative tasks: you’ll combine data management, documentation and organisation with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.
- Room for improvement: You help to gradually make existing processes clearer and more efficient.
- Quick decision-making processes: You will work closely with colleagues in the warehouse and the relevant contacts.
- Remuneration: from €14.60 gross per hour (negotiable), 30 days’ annual leave based on a 5-day week
- Employee benefits (capital-forming benefits, company pension scheme, Deutschlandticket, company bike leasing)
Does this sound familiar to you?
Do you enjoy working in a structured way, keeping track of things even when there are lots of details to deal with, and seeing things through until they’re finished? Are you able to be friendly yet firm, and do you want your work to ensure that processes run smoothly? If so, we look forward to receiving your application.
